The Trojan Rabbit is a super siege engine made by King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, in the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail, in order to storm a castle after being humiliated by French knights and having a cow fired at them by catapult.
The Trojan Rabbit was the idea of Sir Bedevere (played by Terry Jones) and is based on the more famous Wooden Horse of Troy. The intention was to hide inside the Trojan Rabbit and after it was taken into the castle, jump out and take the fortification. Unfortunately, the knights forget to get inside the Trojan Rabbit and it gets fired at them by catapult causing them to "Run away! Run away!"
King Arthur: What happens now?
Sir Bedevere: Well, now, uh, Launcelot, Galahad, and I, uh, wait until nightfall, and then leap out of the rabbit, taking the French, uh, by surprise. Not only by surprise, but totally unarmed!
Arthur: Who leaps out?
Bedevere: U-- u-- uh, Launcelot, Galahad, and I. Uh, leap out of the rabbit, uh, and uh...
Arthur: Ohh...
Bedevere: Oh. Um, l-- look, i-- i-- if we built this large wooden badger.......
