Plo Koon Lego Starfighter

Jedi Master Plo Koon was an accomplished pilot in his Jedi Starfighter which was known as "The Blade of Dorin". This starfighter was a Delta-7B Aethersprite-class light interceptor which was used in The Clone Wars and was customized in blue and white colours to provide camouflage against blue skies when being used in battles within the atmosphere of planets.

The Blade of Dorin was given to Master Plo Koon by Anakin Skywalker after losing his Star Destroyer in the Batlle of Abregado; the ship was a fast craft, used by Plo Koon to outpace other ships, and was armed with two laser cannons.

Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter is a simple Lego assembly, suitable for 7-12 year old Lego fans (and of course older), measuring around ten inches long once complete with Plo Koon's distinctive blue and white colours.

This Lego set is a sleek design, reflecting the spaceship's speed, and it is armed with two rapid firing laser cannons; a fast, maneuverable ship, with some firepower for speeding into battle.

The Lego Mini Figures

Two Star Wars Lego mini figures come with Plo Koon Lego Starfighter; they are Jedi Master Plo Koon himself to pilot the ship and his astromech droid R7-D4 for navigation, repairs and computing skills. The Plo Koon Lego and R7-D4 are both rare Lego mini figures.

Other Features

Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter has some interesting features including folding landing gear on the underside for smooth take off and landing. The cockpit has an opening hatch and is equipped with an ejector seat in case Plo Koon is shot down by separatist forces so that he can live to fight another day. Another nice feature is the space for the astromech droid to be seated, just like in the ships in the movies, and a tool attachment to grip Plo Koon's blue lightsaber when he is piloting the ship.

The Plo Koon Star Wars Lego mini figure is also included in this other model; LEGO Star Wars Republic Gunship 7676, which is out of production and hard to find. Some merchants are selling the Plo Koon mini figure and speeder bike from this set separately.
