Asajj Ventress Lego

Asajj Ventress is a character from the animated Clone Wars movie and series, a spin-off from the Star Wars movies. She is a Dathomirian acolyte of the Sith Lord, Darth Tyranus, having gone over to the dark side after originally training as a Jedi.

Asajj Ventress is one of the main protagonists in the animated movie "The Clone Wars", fighting for the dark side against the Jedis and Clone Troopers. The biography of Asajj Ventress on Wookiepedia tells us that she crossed to the dark side after the death of her Jedi Master, Ky Narec, and was given her twin lightsabers by Count Dooku (Dath Tyranus). Asajj Ventress was a highly feared enemy having killed a number of Jedi warriors in close combat and in the both the movie and series she shows an intense hate of the Jedis.

The power of this Dark Jedi was demonstrated when she sent herself into a Sith trance after appearing to be mortally wounded by Anakin Skywalker, faking her death and escaping never to be seen again by either the Jedis or the Sith.

Two versions of the Asajj Ventress Lego mini figure have been produced; the latest with the 2011 Sith Nightspeeder set and an older version with the 2008 Republic Gunship set. Both versions include a unique head brick which features Ventress's evil expression and facial tattoos, capturing her face quite well. Both versions of this Lego mini figure come with two unique red lightsabers with curved hilts.

This version of the Sith acolyte features a highly detailed printed torso and legs. However, whilst this is a cool and detailed mini figure it does use a different colour scheme for her clothes than is seen in the Clone Wars movie; this version of Asajj Ventress also has trousers rather than a skirt.

2008, Republic Gunship Asajj Ventress Mini Figure
This Lego Asajj Ventress has a printed torso which appears very close to the clothing on the character from the Clone wars animated movie. In addition, this mini figure has a cloth skirt, just about the only Lego mini figure to do so - this reflects Ventress's appearance in the cartoons.

The two dark side Apprentices Asajj Ventress and Savage Opress can pilot this Sith Nightspeeder into battle together or individually in order to attack Clone Troopers and the Jedi Anakin Skywalker; they can use their powers of the dark side to attack enemies at speed or fire the large side-mounted missiles to inflict damage to clustered troops or enemy spacecraft.

This cool craft consists of two Sith speeder pods attached to a large flick-firing missile canon; both speeders have a unique attachment mechanism that fastens them securely to the main model, but it is in double attack mode that they become a fearsome foe for Anakin Skywalker.

This highly playable Clone Wars Lego set will please fans of the animated series, with mini figures of two popular Sith acolytes including the new version of the Asajj Ventress mini figure.

This is one of the best Star Wars Lego sets produced and features the original version of the Asajj Ventress Lego mini figure with fabric skirt.

The Lego Republic Gunship has an array of opening doors, compartments and cool features that include Spy Droids, a healing compartment and a command centre; this is a Star Wars set that can play a central role in any Lego space battle.

With over one thousand Lego pieces and two instruction manuals, this is a set which takes some time to build but can be assembled by younger builders too, with a little help perhaps.

For those that like weapons on their Lego spacecraft this model has a large armory - two rotating missiles on the front and eight movable flick-firing missiles on the top.
